The front guard hole is a REGISTERED TRADEMARK of Busse Combat and is incontestable.

There have been many reputable companies and makers who, when informed that they were using our trademarked hole, immediately removed the feature from their designs. There are others who demand litigation.

I appreciate those who bring our attention to designs that incorporate our mark.

That's not the only knife of theirs with a front talon hole. Go through the complete catalog, there are several others. :thumbdn:

It's going to take more than a talon hole to move those babies.:barf:

I was watching "Jumper" with Sam L Jackson and saw what I assume is a Fox knife.

Strangely, it looked as if the lead character's dad opened a beer bottle with an E-series Busse. You got a glimpse and then nothing. Maybe the studio had a thing for talon-hole knives. LOL

Would it be better suited for them to fly a red flag with a gold star on it since they are ripping off trademarks???;):D

Cool looking knife,

but the handle is very KZII, and the talon hole is unmistakable.

Nice catch tundra, I'm sure Jerry appreciates it.

And upon further exploration of their website, they have several knives/machetes with talon holes.

Yep ripping off the Emerson wave & Strider's nightmare grind too.

Let alone they all look like Extrema Ratio's stuff in the first place.

Fox has been brought up in the past over the talon hole thing.

Touche adrock!!

Downtown did you just suggest I dont use my knives?

So in the days before sebenza, strider, Hinderer knives I carried a Spyderco Tim Wegner. They discontinued this knife and he built similar knives through blade tech. Blade Tech if I am not mistaken built the Rat Trap folder. Blade Tech is now somehow involved with Fox Knives through Mikey Velastrada who is the blade tech knife guy.

Hopefully that made sense.

no no, not directed toward you at all - just general and harmless fun-poking at the collectors amongst us. some are purported to have safe fulls that haven't seen the light of day since they arrived. (you know who you are)
