I haven't seen many reviews on the Fox Livri, so I thought I'd write my own. This is a relatively new "modern traditional" from Fox knives, a very good Italian knife maker. It is a bit hard to find from US retailers, so I had to order mine from Italy through Leone Shop. My overall impression is that this is one stellar knife. The M390 steel is a superb "high end" steel and the OD green micarta handles are very attractive. The micarta isn't quite as "grippy" as I would like, but they still look great. The fit and finish is nearly perfect: flush pins, perfectly centered blade. The only really minor quibble is that the back spring sits a very slight bit high in the closed position, but not enough to cause any problems.
This is pretty small knife measuring about 3 1/2 inches closed with a blade length just shy of 3inches. For a knife meant to be carried in the pocket, this is a good thing. I put a leather lanyard on mine for easy access.
I just love the sheepsfoot blade. They have a similar offering, the Libar, for those who prefer a clip blade. The knife is clearly channelling the Benchmade Proper, but is a bit smaller and quite a bit cheaper (about $88 online). I don't have a Proper, so I can't make any direct comparisons, but I'm very happy with my purchase. In all a great value for a great knife.
