Hi!

Does anyone have experience with the Fox brand? Some friends offered me this knife.

Thanks

My initial reaction is it looks like an Mtech...I can find FOX outdoor knives, they are priced in the premium range and have limited but positive reviews...that being said, I cannot find this model or this logo on any of their products. I could be wrong, but I would be wary of paying too much for this knife.

The sheath and the logo are the biggest red flags for me...knives in this price range never come with cheap, simple, nylon sheaths...

What is the price this knife is being offered at?

I also cannot find this model or this logo on any FOX products. I researched a little and found this knife on the internet around 40eu (42,5 USD) under the MFH brand!

So... I think this is MFH...

a search for "fox outdoor knife redrope" brings up several results - some as low as 13 euro.
no page i saw described the steel, other than "quality"
I wouldn't be afraid to get it and check it out, but I wouldnt spend much on it at all

I'm not familiar with the knife you posted and I'm inclined to believe it's a fake.

My experience with Fox knives has been very positive. I own both folders and fixed blades, made under their own brand and also made for other brands (like Bastinelli) and I'm very happy with them all.

I think "FOX outdoor" is a sub brand of MFH (MAX-FUCHS) and is not related to FOX brand. So, what you can tell me about the quality of MFH?

The folks above are right, FOX is an Italian-American brand with several sub-brands or divisions (FKMD, FOX Italy, etc.) but this one is not a product of theirs.

The FOX name that can relate to it in any way is just purely coincidental and has nothing to do with FOX USA, FOX Italy, Fox Knives Military Division or anything of the sort.
