Fox Parang Bushcraft: woods, fire, nails, hammer

My Parang Bushcraft it’s definitely a “user”

As you may see, the edge is far from the perfection, in fact using heavily the Parang I cutted not only woods, but also sheet iron i.e and hitted rocks and so on



Anyway, the knife is “razor sharp”, I use a diamond stone to resharp it when needed



After batoning some hard dry full of knots woods (see footage), I made some thin feathers and ignite them using the firesteel (again, the footage)





Then, something a bit unusual, cutting nails

The knife is always in great shape



Finally, using the blade as an hammer, I hit a big nail on the wood

I guess 206USD http://www.foxknivesusa.com/en/product/2425/fox_parang_bushcraft_jung.html is a fair price for the knife, including the survival kit. Beckers are good knives also, anyway.

Oh I'm sure it's worth it. I'm just used to $50 knives.
