I copied your original post from General so folks would know what you're asking (it looks like that post was deleted/moved):
"Just purchased the Fox Suru. Really like it, but have notice a slight wiggle when the blade is locked. Especially when I press down with my thumb (see picture). I am a novice and do not know anything about knife repair or maintenance. Any advice on how to possibly fix the loose/wiggle would be appreciated."
... but the Suru isn't a traditional knife AFAIK; it has a pocket clip and a decidedly modern look and design.
Wiggle when locked can just mean that the detent hole is slightly larger than the detent ball, and in my experience isn't a problem unless it causes one (allows the blade to bang something, makes it so loose it can fall open, etc.).
If it bugs you and you bought it from a dealer who accepts returns, return it and request one that doesn't have this issue.
At this point, I'm not certain how to fix this. The thread got discombobulated.
Let's start over. I will close this thread and will go look for the fragment in General and close that.
Please start a new thread in the Maintenance Forum. It's a maintenance and tinkering type question.
