Wow, just looking at that knife made me feel intimidated!

Seriously, I have seen it, but I am not familiar with the knife, Fox, or the funky steel. Actually Fox knives are being imported by Ruko (or so I have read). I was recently trying to track down a Fox folder that had a $170.00 price tag. I saw one in person - the handle was built like all get-out, but the blade seemed thin and not-so-great. It was a multi-function 'rescue' knife with a glass breaker and seat belt cutter built into the handle. Judging by this folder I handled, I think Fox pieces may be a tad overpriced for what they are, regardless of steel used.

From what I've handled Coltellerie Fox makes a very decent product, and mostly at a fair price. N690 is a decent steel, not a superb edgeholder - it's comparable to the better 440-series steels.

I haven't seen this particular knife before, and it looks pretty mall-ninja-ish, I have to say. I'm sure the craftmanship is there, if they've kept to their standards. The claims of it being on par with Extrema Ratio.... Well I hope it's not as ridiculously thick as their knives. ;)
