:D Just go my second khukris in the foxy folly. Love at first sight. Thank you Yangdu for such a beautiful blade. Took it out for a short test drive to see what it could do. First khuk is a M43 I could instantly tell a difference in techqunice and sweet spot. It is lighter and a slimmer blade ,but I feel I can accelerate it from a dead stop faster and snap it into a tree easier.

Had to get my M43 a friend can't leave it alone. I did feel like I was cheating on it since it was my first.

It looks different to me as well Tohatchi. I wonder what the current issues of the Dui Chiarra are looking like and if they have gotten straighter too?:confused:

Thanks for the pics Baddlegg!!!! Of course you know the FF is my favorite khukuri.
What are the specs on yours and did I understand that this is your second FF?

Now that you have suitably scratched the mirror polish take some steel wool or a coarse Scotch-Brite pad and carefully rub it up and down the blade creating a beautiful satin finish that is easy to maintain.
Just be very careful with either of the mediums along the very edge as they can dull the edge something fierce and you'll have to re-sharpen it.
 
its a 17" 28 once i belive. I know that the M43 is the newer model with the inch longer handle making it a 18".
