Yesterday my lady and I were out raking up all of the leaves and pine needles in the yard. It was a wonderfully warm day with no wind. Perfect day for yard work and such. Well I was in the pine trees raking up the seasons dropping of needles and spotted this interesting looking toadstool. I thought it would be cool to get a few shots of it before it was gone. The FF was there for limb removal duty and since the color matched the day it got into the photos too.;)

Those are great pics. Thanks. Andy

Great pix AA!!!! This one almost hides in the pine needles.:)

Boy, that's pretty.

Kind of like a "definitive" image of khukuri.

Nice.

Thank you.

You know my first thought was "nice pics!!" then I said "C'mon!, which picture is going to show him cutting the toad stool??!!" :D

What's wrong with me?! :o :D

Thanks Guys,
Astrodada, the wood is Kapur, it seems sort of spruce like in scent and ease of working.
Rob, I could never kill a lil ole toadstool with the FF. Now, every darn pine bough that stuck me was quickly removed from the trunk with great pleasure.:D ;)

I completely understand..you've seen my yard--mowing around sharp blue spruce needles can send me into a frenzy or revenge chopping!:D
