Blackberries are coming ripe in my neck of the woods. This morning I set out on the hunt with my Foxy Folly & a .38 loaded with snake shot. Used the Fox to cut my way into some spots, picked a couple quarts, didn't have to draw on any serpents,.

Pictures of the implement of destruction and protection please? And evidence of your success? ;) :D

Can't do pics. My computer is so old it runs on steam, camera is 35mm. Xtra $$ keeps going toward blades, ammo & fishing trips.
Gear for the safari was a 17" Foxy Folly & old S&W M15. Berries are being digested.

Ok, if I hadn't won a digital camera in a competition I wouldn't have one as my spare $$'s going on essentials like yours do!;)

I used to have a S&W Model 15, a blued 4inch barreled K frame revolver with adjustable rear sights.

Did the berries get eaten 'natural' or with ice-cream or used in a pie? :D

Blackberry cobbler & frozen yogurt.
My M15 was retired from some police force when the switch to autos took place abt 25 years ago, just a little holster wear & very slick action. When I'm knocking around I usually carry a 15"AK but the length & thinner edge profile of the Fox works a little better on thorny viney stuff.
