This is a pattern by James Rodebaugh MS. He taught me how to make this style and this is my first attempt. Also first try with parkerizing and working with ironwood burl (which is not easy).
It needs a bit more polishing up but I've got to get over the Plaza Cutlery knife show now :-)

Bird and trout 3 piece frame handle with parkerized W1 and ironwood burl with silicon bronze ferrule and frame . Pattern by James Rodebaugh MS.

Comments and criticism welcome.

Very nice work!, and in particular, good for you for recognizing James for his pattern. All too often the originator of a design or technique is not given credit due.

Great looking knife Harbeer. That handle is beautiful. You're doing very nice work.

If I could pick one maker to school me on hunters it would be Rodebaugh. Really nice work, HSC!
