Frame Handle Bowie for Blade Show

This one will be on my table at the Blade show. Coffin frame handle / Nickel liners / Coffin guard / W's Damascus / Desert ironwood. Little cut lines on spacer and guard. 8" blade / 12.75" overall length. Looking forward to the show seeing old friends and making new.










I need to credit lot of help from Mike Quesenberry on the frame handle construction.

Great looking knife! I especially like the "Coffin Guard"! Is that your idea? I do not recall ever seeing that before!

I agree; that coffin shaped guard is a unique touch.

Still haven't made it to blade, I'm going to need to change that next year.

Steve, I first got the idea for a coffin guard 4 years ago. Ed Caffrey had a small bowie with what he called a" Kite guard". I was in the process of doing a coffin handled bowie and the thought occurred to me to do a guard shaped the same. That was the first of three I have done that way. I'm sure someone that has done it before me.
