I've been making knives for 7 years or so now, and have never made a Bowie until now. I’ve always wanted to do a frame handle, and my first Bowie seemed like a good time to do it. The blade was hand forged by me a few years back, and I’ve been waiting for the right idea to finish it up. The guard, frame, and spacers are black G10 with nickel silver accents and pins, and the handle is some really special stabilized mesquite burl from my grandmother’s place in Christoval, Texas. It also happens to still be for sale, but that's another thread for another sub-forum.

OAL: 10 7/8 inches

Blade: 6 inches

Steel: Forged 1080

Nice work. The black G10 looks great. I like using it, it is strong and will always stay black
