Here's a little something I finished recently. It's a main gauche with a shorter blade than usual, based on an historical example. But I took a few liberties with the rest. It sports a frame handle, but turned 90deg vs. the normal. The fine silver wire is inlaid to half it's depth like I usually do on the more traditional spiral fluted handles, but in a scalloped pattern for something different. I'm sure that's been done, but I've never seen it. Handle itself is Bolivian rosewood burl. Blade is parkerized O1. Fittings are fire blackened mild steel. I would have liked the black to be more even all around, but next time...
