Frame lock Captain?

OK -so I know this isn't exactly your cup-a-t - but the Spyderco Captain is the most practical/effecient tool I've run into in a while. Given the hard use this poor knife will get - is it possible to convert it into a frame lock? With low rider clip of course?Cosmetics not important.

Its been a few since I've seen one. I did have one here for a time a while back to evaluate and handled it but I did not take it apart. I'd really need to see it to know for sure but my inclination is towards yes.
