as the title says I am looking for a frame lock flipper for 200 ish .I already have the zt 300 and zt 560 and would like a change from the ztbrand
I have been looking at the combative edge m1 and I am leaning that way
as you can see I like big folders so ant suggestion for a frame lock flipper ????

A little smaller: Spyderco Southard and Domino.

Also, check out Dendra Knives flipper Tiger Jump.

Although you're taking a break from ZT their best flipper is the ZT 0801.

Spyderco domino and southard are the first two that came to mind i was just wondering what other options are out there keep them comeing guys

i wanted the tiger jump however blade hq are out of stock and i do have some store credit there

KnifeWorks has it in stock.

Dendra Defender is also titanium frame lock.

Dendra are quality knives made for them by LionSteel.

i had been looking at the tiger jump but i have 100 dollars credit at blade hq .........but knife works has it in stock .....my credit card just started trembling !!!

I would go for the Combative Edge M1 in coyote brown. It's a nice large blade with a very thin profiled handle. In fact, you won't find a thinner profile anywhere else. It's a great design. I'm so bored with black, it's always nice to have another option. Fox knows how to do a Reeve integral lock.

Much like the Dendra knives, flipping will require a wrist flick. When using the thumb studs however, you won't need a wrist flick. This is due to lack of bearings. Get the M1, you'll be happy you did.

Combative edge m1 is a great knife and one of my favorites, I doubt you'd be disappointed.

I've heard good things about the Combative Edge M1 and SR11. I think they're made for them by Fox Knives.

Fox Knives also makes the Wilson Combat RRX flippers.

Fox is a quality producer.

I have a black M1 coming in before the weekend.

Anything doesn't has Elmax stamp on the blade. I would highly recommend Spyderco's Domino.

If you like the ZT's and are looking for a heavier duty build then I would go with the Combative Edge M1 over the Spydercos, but both the Southard and Domino are great knives. I real like the looks of the M1 and plan on getting one as well.

Even though you said you want a change from ZT you really have to give the 801 a chance. It is really an awesome knife you won't be disappointed

My Combative Edge M1 came in today. It's a nice thin folder with a sharp blade of N690Co.

However, it has some issues to keep in mind.

It's NOT a true flipper and you must wrist-flick to open it otherwise it will NOT deploy fully. You cannot open the folder with the thumb studs alone.

When closing you MUST have your fingers away from the lock bar otherwise the pressure on it will not allow you to disengage the lock.
