Those two folders are the only folding knives from my small collection.
Which one you like best?

I like the liner lock blade you have listed.. .. but perfer a frame lock ;) ..

BTW Cool knives

Other way around for me. I like everything about that frame lock, except for it being a frame lock. Both are very nice though.

Nice knives, you have good taste. I really like the frame-lock.

They both look great but I really like the blade grinds on the liner lock. You have very good taste in makers that Kit fella plain rocks. What are the specs?

Anything made by Kit Carson is  ! And both of those rock ! :D

Don't see too many Carson spear point's floating around.

I'm unable to decide. . . . . .so. . . . . send me both. :D

Thanks for your comments!!

They are M25 from Kit Carson. The liner lock is made by S90V, and the frame lock is made by D2.

I like them both!!

Definitely the frame lock. They tend to feel more secure to me, and I prefer the blade profile on the frame lock.

Now, the big question... where can I buy one?

Chris

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately there are only two M25 in the world at the moment !!

Kit may make more in the future.

regards,

For only having 2 folders, you sure picked 2 really nice ones!! They are boith great, I would be happy with either, but like the Framelock better.

Carson makes some of the nicest folder in the custom world.

I find it more difficult to open a framelock with a tip-down clip, because the way my hand holds it, my fingers push against the lock which presses the detent harder, which makes it difficult to open it. Don't have this problem with a linerlock of course.

With a tip-up framelock, my fingers rest against the clip more naturally and I don't have the difficulty opening the knife.

I like framlocks over liners, high grinds over sweges.
So I like the frame lock.
The more unique clip is neat too.

P.S. they are both awesome.
