Hey everybody,

Who makes a good knife that doesn't have scales?

Knives like the professional soldier, by CRK, or many other neck knives (like the izula but bigger.)

Something simple with no frills. Just nice good steel, and maybe a hole for some powercord wrap.

I wish chris offered the Professional soldier in A2 or another tool steel. However, he does not so i will continue on my search.

Becker BK11 is bigger than the Izula, I think. You might be able to find a Spyderco Mule Team out there as well. The current version for sale at the S.F.O is made of CPM S35VN (same steel as in CRK's kitchen knives)

Spyderco's Mule Team lineup don't have scales. For the steel you're getting they are exceptionally well priced too.

Another (and pricier) alternative would be Strider's fixed blade lineup.

Syderco MULE !! new mule06 made of cpm s35vn scary sharp, but good luck finding one.
Strider overpriced ,I dont like grind on fixed blade.

Nice knife:)

I think the CS GI Tanto is only paracord-wrapped, as well as the Ranger RAK (or one of the R.A.Ks, not sure which)

Baba, that is pretty unique! Does that cover mechanism lock in place anyhow? It's kind of like pocket fixed blade!

wow, wonder if that constitutes a folding knife here in Cali. would be one way around the whole no concealing of fixed blades law.

hey baba please tell us more about that b.m. necker. so simple i wonder why it has;nt been done before. thanks dennis
