Just finished the sheath to this Josh Smith inspired piece. Blade is full flat ground ATS34, hand satin finished to 800gt. OAL is 14 1/4", blade is 8 3/4". The frame, guard, ferrules, bolsters and pommel nut are 416 stainless. Engraving is by Marcello Pedini. Scales are Ivory.

Was really happy with the fit between the Ivory and the bolsters. Hope you like it, any and all comments welcome.

Great looking bowie. The real challenge is the ivory fitting, You pulled it off perfectly.

Well, I am a fan of that knife. It just looks like a total package. Nothing seems out of place.

I am not usually a fan of white/ivory handled blades but this guy is very very nice. One thing I like is the engraving is just detailed enough to not be overbearing. I think it was a perfect fit for the blade.

Great job.

You have knocked out another home run with this one Peter. Super clean fit on the ivory. Love the engraving, have to mirror Quints thoughts here, just the right amount.
Cheers Keith

that's super impressive.

Thank you very much for your kind comments everyone, they are very much appreciated after a build like this one. The fit up of the Ivory was always going to make or break this knife. Slow and steady got it done, a pantograph would have made life so much easier.

Very elegant. A difficult creation executed a very high degree. Beautiful handle and really nice blade profile.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
