Hi
Below is a photo of two 8x10 pics framed. This is a photo of 2 photos so it is not as clear as originals but I wanted to show them framed.

Took the photos today and used my new photo tent. It did seem to improve the results. The photo tent was only $55 (80cmx80cm).

Great picture and it looks pretty clear to me. Is that a David Yellowhorse Buffalo?

Paul

Thanks Paul, it represents alot of time, spent most of the afternoon trying getting it right. Yes thats a Yellowhorse, colors make it stand out nice.
Im going to try and do similar with my fixed blade knives in a few weeks. This only works if I dont keep adding knives from recent purchases to the photos, gets expensive to keep re-printing.
Kind Regards Tim

Heres a closer view of right side pic, its less than a 3rd of original Megapixels due to photobucket hosting.

Thanks, you have displayed your trappers nicely (in your other thread), looks rustic suits them well.

Thanks Tim. I have since become concerned about the sunlights effects on the knives and am wondering what to do about that. I absolutely love the photos. I can't remember what you do for a living but think if you're not a professional photographer, you definitely have a talent to make money doing it to pay for your Schrade addiction. Any idea on when that DU scrim came out? I've never seen that one before and have been a member of DU for some time.

In a way thats funny because I keep looking at the photo and say to myself: "NOT one more Tim it wont fit in the picture"!!!

Yes, its not that hard at all, Im no expert, mind you I have played around with it for days trying different options. Ive only been taking photos of knives for about 6 months. These were done off a cheap $30 tripod.
I only have 3 trappers and i guess if you have enough of them you could photo them the same way as the LB7s (probably spaced out a little)
Yes the scrimshaw is unusual Ive seen a couple with the same birds on handles but not with the same blade etch as well. I like the WW2 blade etch, it was a cheap knife and probably nothing special. The blade etch is top coated with black gloss.
Kind Regards Tim

I'll cast a vote for #2 with the flowered bolsters, with #1 a close second.
