I like the clean appearance.

In comparison to your other knives on photobucket, this one seems particularly clean, probably because of the countersunk screws.

I'm curious about the grooves on the back of the blade (near the thumbstud) - what are they for?

The grooves provide extra grip for the thumb.

The countersunk screws are custom made so I can get the right look.

Great looking knife I like a lot.
I am curious about the thickness and wide dimensions of the blade.
Congrats

The handles and blade are 1/8" thick, its about 1 1/8" wide. The pivot and stop pin bolts are 5mm diamater with 8mm diameter bronze or stainless bushing. Its built strong. Practically every part is custom made in my shop apart from the 2 screws that hold the clip and the retaining bearing.

That is one clean looking folder! Simple and elegant, but it looks TOUGH!

Nice work.

Thanks

Its built tough first, looks later.

I made the pivot and stop bolts myself so I know they will be strong. They are hand turned from 6mm diameter stainless steel to 5mm diameter and I cold formed the Torx heads with a gadget I made especially for the purpose.

The spacer bolts are also hand turned so they are strong and look good too.

I also made the blade tips a little thicker so they are less likely to break. I wanted a stronger clip so I made that too, ground from a solid piece of titanium.

It can be disassembled with a single Torx driver.

Lots of attention to detail:thumbup: Just looked at the pics again and I really like that one. Keep it up!

Thanks

Great work Shing.
I think that projects like this one are more to discover because they deserve a lot of surprises and attention to fine details.

Cheers

Lovely work. Very, very clean. Now, if you wanted to sell some of the torx screws, let me know. I'm having trouble finding nice sharp looking torx screws. Would you be willing to show the gadget you made?
