Hi all,

Would like to share with you my 6th locking folder off the bench. I think this is my favorite so far, definitely seems to be the smoothest working one so far!

I really love the Sheepfoot blade profile, all utility! Its got to be my favorite

I just had to incorporate it into this handle profile I've been working with. Had to get this one out of my system so to speak, now its back to finishing up some orders so I can start focusing on making a bunch more of these in the future.

Specs:

3/16" stock 1095 blade measuring a little over 3" with a dark tumbled finish. Milled in thumb opener. (This one really feels like there is a lot of blade packed into the design on this one)
Orange G10 non-locking scale, grooved and beadblasted finish
.0125" Ti lock scale, slightly contoured with a beadblasted finish.
Ti pocket clip (tried something a little different by following the contour of the handle, I may knock that little horn off, not sure what I think about it just yet)
Blue/black G10 backspacer.
S/S hardwear througout, satin finished.

I like it, hell I'm half tempted to buy it but the ti side and clip look a bit plain in comparision to that beautiful blade!

Can I get an in hand shot?

That is some seriously good lookin' work.

How does one get in touch with you? Can you send me a PM?

Thanks guys!

Dark Tumble Finish: The blade is 1095, after heat treating, tempering, and cleaning it up to a 400 girt finish I bead blast the blade. Then I etch it in ferric chloride. This basically makes a natrually patina and turns the blade nearly solid black. At this point it almost looks gun coated (pretty cool looking actually). Then I put in in the tumbler until I like it. That basicallys smooths its out and creates a nice slick surface that resists rust very well. Thats about it!
Thanks again for the feedback guys! Its much appreciated. Hope to be posting more soon for sale here!
