  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Very nice, Daniel. Thanks for the pix.

:D I debated on the "in-action" photo but that's what it looks like!

I'm much better at the process now but I have probably gone through $100 of standoffs trying to hit the right measurements. I save those for thinner folders!

Daniel I'm glad you show us these very precise fitting operations. Some of us have no clue what time and expertise it takes for you to make these absolutely incredible works both machine and art wise!

Being a Machinist myself, I can attest to the time and effort it takes to produce these.

If you have one, enjoy it for the treasure it is. If not get on his list to get one.

The only problem is that you'll want more, life's hard sometimes!

Kudos Master Maker

Hey thanks Don! I'm no machinist but I do have a T-Shirt from McMaster-Carr.. :D Machinists Rule!

Much appreciated too, these have been a long ways in the works and I really enjoy hearing that! :D

lol! Design an adjustable stand-off.
lol I want a lathe and a surface grinder for standoffs and spacers. I'm getting good at hand lapping though!

O rings , lol
I do like the o-ring/stop pin thing CRK does...

That's!!! ^ A good idea!
exactly!

I'm hoping to get more pics today... I still have more screws to shorten and other detail items then it's blast time!
