Thought some here might appreciate pics of a CQC-10 I converted to a snubby Reverse Tanto, had a custom framelock and back spacer added, and replaced the G10 front handle with Lignum Vitae.

Is the back side supposed to be "naked" (I'm not sure of the correct term) I thought the CQC 10 had G-10 on both side with titanium inserts?

He had it pimped. Note the shortened blade.
Hey Potterma! That knife came out nice! Let me know if you ever want to sell it bro!

Its a frame lock now. No need for the back scale it came with or a wood one. The lock is the scale. Look at the thickness.

Its beautiful! I love that wood, but hate the blade shape. Would be good on a boat though. Wouldn't have to worry about accidentally stabbing your crew mates with that one huh? At least not as bad as the previous version. I'm not sure what the blade is supposed to be. It reminds me of a Graham Bros Razel kind of and a large razor blade too. At least you can still pick splinters with it though. Is that a false edge on the drop to the point or is it sharpened up?

That is typical with a framelock. Yes, a stock, linerlock, CQC-10 has a G10 scale over the liner on both the lock and front sides. Linerlocks vary in thickness, but are typically thin compared to a framelock. The Ti for this conversion is .125 thick.

I'll keep you in mind, DH, but I'm afraid I have not present plans on letting this prize out of my sight! :)
