come on guys it's lots of effort for me to get this stuff on the forum. if i'm that boring i'll stay out of your way.

They're nice.

I think the problem is that beyond "they're nice" there's not a whole lot to comment on topics like this.

If you want to get it going then maybe frame a question?

They're nice Dennis, but except for sodbusters I'm not into traditional slipjoints. If you post this in Traditional forum you will find them more appreciative.

I really like those. Love the cigar/equal end pattern(s), and GEC makes some fine tools. My favorites are in positions 1, 3, and 5 in the bottom row.
Nice photo, thanks for posting!

(and please, take it over to the Traditional forum too, so those guys can all see!)

Nice collection you got going there. I'm just starting to grab G.E.C. produced knives....impressive quality and nice choice of patterns available.

Nice Collection.

I'm also just starting to shop for G.E.C. knives to add to my slip joint EDC of Buck, Case, Queen etc.

To give you an idea what G.E.C. model I think will be first in the collection. :)

555 that mdl23 in 2 blades is a really big knife. all my 23s are one blade. maybe you can hold one before you buy. my brothers 1st was like your choice. i laughed & told him it was as heavy as 4 in fowler.but if you really like big knives the 2 blade mdl. 23 is == to 2 hunting knives.whatever the quality is unsurpassed.

Dennis

The far right UN-X-LD is extremely sweet , the others are nice too but that one sings to me.
Thanks for sharing !

Tostig

im really liking the design on the one on the top. that red one looks beautiful. which one is it called? i cant quite make out what it is from the list you have.

Tostig the burnt stag is big horn which has oppossing big clip blades. this arrangement is less common than the moose or big jack. actually a moose with 2 identical clip blades. however when you have oppossing identical blades in other than big clip then it becomes a muskrat. i know it's crazy is'nt it.

Dennis, I'm not even into slip joints but that Moose is one Nice looking knife. That Big Horn ain't bad neither, solid collection you got a brewin.
