6" 440C blade 59-60rc. Montana mule deer handle with ironwood burl insert and nickel-silver fittings.

I liked the curvature of the handle on this one, so I sniped it on ebay for a very good price. Probably my last custom on ebay though, as it 'lacks' something in the transaction (maybe because there's no direct interaction with the maker). Lemme know what you all think of the pic, I'm trying to improve my knife photography skills. Criticisms and comments wanted.

Very nice knife. I'm assuming those are intentional indentations on the spine of the blade near the guard and not chips? The photo is very nice. Love the background.

Bladewolf - Nice score.. Frank's work is great and he has a great eye for blending his handle materials!

kaosu04 - Not chips, just Frank's way of scalloping the spine...

Own that with pride. Franks a damn good man. He's hangin' around here at times, too.

Nice score, snipe-man... ;)

Thanks guys, I do love Frank's work. This knife has a very lively feel to it as well as the esthetics.

Coop, you're one of my inspirations on the photo part. I believe people should do the best they can to photograph their customs, out of respect for both the maker, and their collections. I have a Hibben original I hope to one day talk to you about, as I can't seem to do it justice.
