Frank J Richtig Markings --"X 6" ?? or "9 X" on Guard. Can these marks be linked to Richtig?

I have an aluminum handle theatre knife stamped 9 X on the guard. It appears to be in the style of Frank Richtig. Is anyone aware of any markings done by Richtig other than his name/initials in the handle? Thanks for any information you can provide.

Photos are too blurry to tell anything. Looks to be cast aluminum handle which would lean towards a Murphy combat knife, not a Frank Richtig. John

The reference for these being Richtig comes from Harlan Suedmeier in "Knives 88". He called them Richtig prototypes, but how he came to that I'm not sure, but he was the biggest source of Richtig info for many years.

This one is mine. Completely void of markings.
Does yours look like the top half of the guard was ground off?
