Hello, I am new to this site and honestly do not know a thing about knives. My grandfather was Frank Vought. I have found many nice things said about him on this site and just want to say thank you to all of you. I was very young when he passed away, and never really knew how much his knives were appreciated. Reading these posts have helped me to learn a little more about him. Thank you again.

Your grandfather was a great artist and craftsman judging from the knives I've seen. I own one Vought knife - lucky to have it.
When did your grand dad pass? I know he had an address near me not too long ago. I thought about contacting him, would like to have talked to him about knives and WNC. Never did - thought it might be an intrusion - should have.

I can echo averageguy - I too own one Vought knife, and consider myself blessed to have submitted the winning bid on ebay for it in 2006.
