Came across this Aurum Pocket Knife
An Aurum deep etched blade with a Buck tang stamp.
Not a Buck 110 frame though.
I'm thinking it is a Buck blade in a Schrade frame. Thoughts?

Looks like a Schrade frame to me. Is that real stag or stagalon? I'm wondering why someone went to the trouble of putting a Buck blade into a Schrade frame? Does the blade have a date code on it?

I was also looking at that one yesterday. For sure not a Buck frame.

The picture above is the only one showing the tang on the auction.
Here it is rotated and zoomed. I'm thinking it is a 2-dot.

I'm surprised it sold at all, especially for over $190
I wonder if the buyer actually knew it was not a true Buck 110?
That was not revealed in the auction description, perhaps the seller did not know.
It would have been a bargain if it actually was a Buck 110.

The reason I was surprised it didn't sell earlier was that I figured someone would grab it not noticing it was not Buck frame thinking they got a good deal.

The pins and the flat top bolster all match the Schrade LB7 frame. That's not staglon. Staglon, for all its charms, never looked that real. Nice looking knife, but $190 seems a bit much.
