This one started its life as a Case Sodbuster Jr. CV before having been worked on by a few members here...

Seals did the forest green micarta scales...

Wildog007 put it to work and got the patina started before being kind enough to put it up on the exchange...

I nabbed it and have been carrying it ever since, but always wanted a pointier tip on it...

Sent it off to richard j for a blade re-shape and a convex edge...

Here's what I've ended up with...

Needless to say I'm a happy dude being able to pocket the end result from a string of fine craftsmen~

Plus spring is making its appearance around these parts, I'm in high spirits :D

Thats really good work. Thanks for sharing the pics and the story behind. :)

Much appreciated.

LOVE that blade shape! Nice job. I have one that's been similarly modded (only the blade) and find it much more useful than it was stock.

All credit goes to richard j, my only instructions to him were to make the blade "more pointy" :o... sitting here carving up a granny smith at the moment and man oh man did he get it sharp... a true pro if there ever was one

Wow, great job everyone. Blade shape looks very similar to the Country Cousin (which also would make a great project knife, enough metal there to convex). That CV on Richard's paper wheels would indeed be scary sharp!

Nice. I have one of the AG Russell's with linnen micarta, and it makes a great handle material.

I like everything about that. The scales look great and the edge looks like it will cut anything that looks at it.

Nice collaboration by everyone involved. Looks great!
