Lately nothing new from the big knife companies has interested me, and I cannot afford any custom stuff. I wish that I could mix various PIECES of several different production knives to make a "Frankenfolder". Granted, I probably could make this actually work with some machines and a little time, but for the sake of not ruining knives or upsetting the natural order of brands, I'll stick to speculation.

Here's a few "Frankenfolder" wishes that I have:

1. The blade of the Benchmade Adamas, the handle of the Zero Tolerance 550, and the Clip of the Spyderco Manix 2 (the G10 version).

2. The handle of the Emerson CQC 15, the blade of the Buck 110, and the clip of the Benchmade Stryker.

Let's keep this thread fun. Many of these knives would be abominations should they actually be produced, but they won't ever be. :D

A Barlow with a Sandvik 12c27 main, a file steel secondary hardened to at least 62rc for scraping and deburring metal, and an adjustable screw pivot.

Handle shape of the RAT 2
Zero Tolerance carbon fiber
Benchmade axis lock
Shape of the RAT 2 blade in S30V or M4 steel
Deep carry DPX clip

these would be fun photoshop projects!

Lockback + handle of the Stretch

Blade of the Manix 2

So...basically the Superleaf but a lockback.

A Benchmade 940 with the Spyderhole from the PM2. Lol, I'm still getting the hang of the thumb-studs.

Any Microtech with Torx fasteners.

Dang . Nice topic for a thread. At the moment all I can think of is. A Cold Steel Holdout 2 with aluminum scales and XHP steel. Very simple blade design but I love it.

Also maybe the blade of a Bm 810 and put on a 275. Gimme awhile to think and will be back. Good thread.

Buck crosslock with the handle of a crkt m21 or desert cruiser, and A2 blade steel.
