Always cool to see folk add their own touch to something. If you're happy, then that's all that matters. I probably wouldn't have taken as much blade off, but I don't know that the wave would work as well with more blade on the spine.

Seems to work well enough. BTW, I've got those same 5.11 pants and that's where I keep my knife :)
 
I think it looks awesome. Kinda reminds me of a wave higo knife. Woulda kept it stock myself, but still, pretty cool.
 
Good job on the mod. It seems like it would have the same cutting abilities as the Stretch with the narrow front end. Also like the Stretch it looks a bit odd, mind you after owning a Stretch for awhile it doesn't seem odd any more. Did you just grind it down to remove most of the material or did you cut part of it off?

Off topic but what kind of 5..11's are those?
 
I watched your vid twice and still don't know what to think of it. For some reason my eye keeps filling in the amount of metal you took out. I do like the wave though...
