Just having some fun to see if it would work. I pulled two Sebs apart to form one I really wanted to work.
It did!:D
I swapped a large stonewashed tanto blade to put on carbon fiber inlayed handles. Also changed out the stop pin sleeve(because it was milled cool) and the blue for silver standoff plus lanyard pin to match.
It's interesting how early lock up I got. I wish all Sebenza's would come like this from the factory. I couldn't be happier with my short pet project. This will be my EDC for a long time!

Looks good. Just a word of warning though. Each Sebenza is individually tuned by hand, giving you a semi-custom fit. If you mix and match parts (scales, blades, washers) you are giving up that fit. It seems to have worked out in your case, though. I once put a damascus blade on a starbenza to see how it would look and it had negative lock coverage, as in it didn't even lock. My advice to anyone who wants a new blade on their seb, send it to the shop and have them do it.

Thx for the heads up Humble. I figured it wouldn't be long before someone posted something of this nature here, warranty warnings or whatnot. This is not my first time to this rodeo. But true enough to others who haven't done this and are thinking of it. Some blades can indeed be swapped, others can't. Glad this one worked out for me. Just don't try and force anything that doesn't want to go. I've had success with many other Seb blade swaps; I'm also an almost 20 year collector and user of Chris's products and am very familiar with them inside and out.

Looks really neat. The silver stud is the way to go on this one, definitely going to have mine swapped out when it gets here.

That knife looks perfect! When I find myself wanting a tanto CRK, I immediately think of the Zaan, because the Zaan is my favorite CRK. But, after seeing that beauty, I've changed my mind. Well Done!

^ Thank you Sir. My bud 1Abominable1 carried the tanto Zaan religiously for quite some time. Great knife for him. My favs are the tanto bladed Sebs. I just like the combo of thick and hollow ground. Plus the 21 with the pivot bushing system will always be the end all for me. Can't mess with perfection. The 25 being a great knife as it is, I feel has some more changes coming to perfect..... a tanto version????? huh....huh? :D

2.0. How about Frankentancarbenza junior?.....

ohh man that looks too good! I looove my tanto I got somewhat recently. That is one of the baddest looking sebs I have seen! Cool man!

Yeah, it's a little monster. LOL

I can't believe how well those pics turned out with how bad the lighting was in that room, they look great!
The pic you took where I held the light on the knives really brought out the Carbon Fiber.

Glad you came by and let me check those beauties out Bro, Talk to you soon.

Thanks man. I don't know which I like more now! I'm a goof. Carried the small all day yesterday. The combo really hit it off for me. Imagine a 1 piece CF inlayed tanto 25. Heh-heh.

My heart-rate is increasing, because I'm imagining a CRK fixed blade tanto with carbon fiber inlays that match your Sebies. That would be quite a titillating trio and a sight to behold.
