I was at a pawn shop today picking up a Buck knife and saw a pretty Franklin Mint fire truck slip joint and for $20 I thought why not. Then I get home and find out a whole set of 12 plus wood display box was selling for $22.50 and the vast majority of other Franklin Mint knives going for $2.25 to $12.50.

Now personally I've always thought FM marketing was a load of BS from the ammount of FM stuff that hits the flea markets and such, but I wouldn't fault anyone for buying their product; it is just buyer beware that you are better off buying off Ebay if you want them.

I might just gift this one to a young collector who is going through that "any knife will do" phase we all went through.

Please talk about knives, not where to buy them.
