This knife was a long time comming, I forged it in the Fall of 2013, sat it aside, and worked on other projects. Finally finished it. 10 1/4" of 5160, 15 1/2" OAL stained curly maple with silver wire inlay. File worked Billet aluminum spacer and fluted mild steel guard. Stained and tooled veg. tanned sheath.

nice looking Bowie there Steve. Just hope it doesn't become part of one of those infamous Frat party drinking contests.
 
It's outstanding Steve. As your work always IS. :thumbup:

It raises more questions than answers, though:

Who is this for? Who will own it? Is it a fundraiser? :confused:

Color me confused.
