I just was on another auction site and found this dealer selling knifes and making up some wild stories. I would like to name the dealer so he does not rip the people here off but I do not want to get ding to for it. he has some china switchblades and saying how they are old and they are not. can someone point me to the right form and tell me if I can list his screen name too??

There was a similar thread recently in Good Bad and Ugly about a dealer misrepresenting his wares. You should be safe to post it up in there although I think links are still a no-no. Pm a mod and ask.

As a online seller of Chinese "clones" yourself....

there is a big difference between counterfeit and clone knifes. counterfeit are the ones with the name on it and are made really hard to tell that it is not made by that knife maker. clones I dont have a problem selling. they are just like the real ones but they dont have any name on them and just come in plain jane boxes.

...it might appear that you are not doing that to protect buyers, but to discredit your competition.

I would also suggest GB&U, full disclosure of the nature of your internet knife selling, and careful wording to avoid the above-mentioned appearance.

8 years, 2,000 posts and you ask this in general... Must be the full moon.
