Hi everyone. Something very disturbing happened very close to where I live "actually 1 block away". Even tho most of you live far away from where I do, no one is truelly safe anymore. Our children have become the prey of the sick and demented. Please for the love of God keep a close eye on them. I purposely moved to a small town to give my kids a better up bringing then what a large city can offer. But apparently even out in the country there are predators amongst us. So you moved to Kelowna? It's not exactly out in the country, that's for sure. It's a known outlaw biker, drug dealer, and random miscreant haven. I'd recommend you rethink your strategy.
 
Big city or little city makes no difference :( this stuff happens everywhere...what a shame and waste.

Your right....unfortunately this sort of thing is happening everywhere.

Netshock. I'm actually North of Kelowna in Lake Country. Kelowna has its problem areas, but things are and have been pretty benine around here. It just very unsettling when something like this strikes close to home. I'm just glad that nothing actually happened to the family.
 
A registered pedophile just up the street from us. :barf: luckily he knows I am armed and dangerous. :p Also we have good neighbors that watch the playing kids like hawks.
 
We had a registered sex offender move in almost directly across the street from the bus stop for our townhouse complex about six months ago. Needless to say there were some very unhappy parents around here. One of them even came to our door to let us know about it. Me and/or the wife be walking the daughter to the stop and staying there until the bus arrives and meeting the bus when she starts school in a few more years. And yes we will both be discreetly carrying.

I thought it was against the law for them to live anywhere near where children congregated. Apparantly that is not the case in my state. Additionally our hands are tied and there is very little we can do about it. I sure hope the laws change soon before something else happens.

You mean allow open season on these worthless wasters of oxygen? I agree. There should be a bounty on their heads.

As a father and a husband my personal fealings are that they should not be allowed back into society. If that means incaceration without parole or a bullet to the head it really makes no difference to me. Either way they are unable to hurt anyone ever again.

My comment about something else happening was more along the lines of what it took to get laws like Megan's Law passed in the first place. It is my hope that tougher legislation is passed without another tragedy happening.
 
In the past I would read article or see report on the local news about airplane accidents within a month of every time I would have to fly, I hate flying.

Now I am seeing crap like this when my first child is 7 weeks out, great.

You should go round and set that peice of sh*t on fire.Thats standard procedure round these parts if rumors like that go about.
I remember about 5 years back some mothers found out some beast was staying in there block they went to the door with a cooking pot full of gas blazed him up then he was beaten with hammers etc till he died.:)
If i knew were any scum like that stayed they wouldnt live there any longer.People can be made to disappear they cause less trouble that way;).
I have zero problems dealing with scum that the law is to useless to deal with.
Sometimes we have to make our own laws.
 
Its too bad laws (and judges) make it so easy for these worthless scumbags to walk free. Instead of a "war on drugs" our tax money would be better spent on a "war on pedophiles". Instead of DEA we should have the PEA.
