Does anybody know who makes Fred Perrin Concepts knives? I believe that they aren't made by designer himself.

Google it. You can buy from Perrin himself or a guy out west who handles his stuff. I talked to him and he has some stuff in stock and will get anything you want shipped from Perrin in 2 - 3 weeks. I'd hook you up but I don't have his phone number anymore. Nice guy though. I'm not sure this answered your question ""concepts" may mean something altogether than one of FP's blades. :)

Yeah, sure, I know where I can buy it, but I want to know who is the actual manufacturer.

bladecraft.com has good prices too. Boker is only a dealer of FP Concepts knives, I'm sure about it.
szaboinc.com states that's the midtech. does it mean these knives are made in France under supervision of Fred perrin himself?

It's my understanding that FP has made some knives, but most of what you'll find out are collaborations or his designs manufactured by other companies.

All some pretty nice stuff. He's got a couple of YouTube video clips that are cool, and his phone number is right on the szaboinc.com site, so I suppose if you really wanted to know if he forges the blade, you could call him.

you can call Fred at 011-33-1-60-88-4174

When I made contact for his neck bowie, they were sold out. I was asked what kind of slabs I wanted and told that he would make them in France and ship the knife to me. - So, who knows for sure?

I bought a Street Beat instead, a mean little knife and beautifully finished Micarta.

Thanks for the info :)
Street Beat is too big for me, I want something that I could carry IWB on static cord.
