Fred Perrin folding Saca Tripas?

Has anyone here handled one/owned one? I saw them over at Szabo inc., and they look intriguing.
 
I read an article about the Saca Tripas and it said that it had to be carried in a sheath. This factor really disapointed me because then I thought, "What the point of the thing folding". It has easy one hand opening and has an edge ground on the back of blade for an unusal fighting style. My verdict is that this is a good idea but way too freaky to be useful. However the military kerambit is awesome all around IMO.
 
yeah, I've noticed that about Szabo knives. Interesting, (heck I bought a UUK years ago...) but a little on the freaky side if you know what I mean...
