Fred Perrin Le Bowie; Thoughts?

I stumbled across the Fred Perrin XL Le Bowie. I really like the blade profile, and the OAL size, but I have no experience with the skeleton frame designs, and for the price, it seems steep. Does anyone have any experience with this blade, or other fred perrin blades? Suggestions for similar products? Itd be an every day, small of the back carry knife, and I have a custom sheath guy, so thats not a problem.

Fred Perrin are nice knives, Look at the Spyderco brand for 2 fixed blades Fred made with Spyderco.
These are affordable versions of his custom knives and work equaly well.
