I just got a Spyderco Fred Perrin with the black blade. Does anyone have a picture of the tang? Just curious about what's under the handle material.
Any comments regarding the knife in general would also be appreciated. I like the feel, the weight and the balance, and the size and shape of the blade. Thanks

Fred Perrin has been used his FB06 SO HARD, you won't believe it's an hidden tang.

Now from my own little point of view.
RKBA !!! (I wanted to use an acronym sorry)

This knife is one of the rare fixed blade I carry in the city and actually FORGET about it !!
In a black denim front pocket it disappears (Ok I am nearly 2 meters tall) and it can be unsheath and reshaeth without to look at it.

VG-10 has been one of my favorite steel since the first FB01 Bill Moran which is really a state of the art light fixed blade.

Use your knife.
It carries a very strong spirit.
The more, the harder you will use it, the more you will love it.
