I realize that the Spirit of Steel show was a few weeks ago and most have already posted up there great scores but I am a little late getting mine. The reason being was I had just returned to work and didn't have money in hand to leave with a nice show score. I did post up that I had left the show leaving a knife on Aaron Frederick's table that I really liked! I hated to leave without it but I didn't have a choice. I did though pick up a card from him and spoke for a while about his knives. A few days later I was going through the cards from the show and decided to contact Aaron via email. I ask him about the knife I had looked at and he stated he did member us speaking and had in fact left the show with it. I then told him about my situation and stated that if he still had the knife on the 15th when I received my first real check after returning to work I'd like to purchase it. He promptly emailed my back and said he would gladly put the knife back for me till I got paid. I thought this was a very gracious offer. I received the knife this morning and it is even better looking than I had remembered. The handles are black carbon fiber and the bolsters are red carbon fiber. The blade is 3.5" hand rubbed S30V (Bowie or modified Persian, not sure what it would be called). It is perfectly centered in the handles. The liner and lock is titanium, the clip is Ti as well I think. The lock up is very early and positive. All in all I think it's a superb piece from an excellent maker. Thanks to him and to all who will share in this thread! I'm no photographer but I hope I can do it justice, have a look!!!
