Free 560 Parts????????????

A few month's ago I mentioned the need for 560 parts. I was advised to contact Leroy Rxxxx (not sure if full names are allowed). I emailed him with no response at first so I purchased the parts from Buck for $10. A month later I get an email stating "yes I can help etc." So I emailed back two bushings and a spring. A couple month's go by and he emailed me back Monday the 26th.

I have a bushings and springs The cost for for the parts are $6.00 that includes 3 spring and bushings and the shipping back to you,just incase you loose one. Please e-mail me your address and when I get back I will ship out to you. Let me know if you are interesed.

Today Saturday the 1st I have a priority mail envelope with 10 bushings and 10 springs with a note inside "No cost for the parts free!!! Leroy"

A gesture like this just simply cannot go unrewarded.

SO WHAT DO I DO?
 
:thumbup: ...That's the kinda guy Leroy is...Let him know you've already gotten parts...Not many like him left...If yer ever looking for a "Custom" anything...don't be afraid to actually partake of Leroy's services...The man can do it all...:D
 
I know what the bushings are like...but why do you need so many springs??? Especially in a 560??? :confused: They're a bear to get apart...

I had only asked for one! I am not complaining at all here but I would have prefered 18 bushings and two springs. I mean how often does the spring go bad! Mine had been shortened I suppose to make it open easier. He originally wanted $6 for the parts and postage was $4 so I am going mail at least $10. As far as his custom Knive's Picasso comes to mind when looking at the photo's. When I decide on my dream knife he will be the one who builds it.

Can anyone tell me what his connection was with Buck?
 
Leroy is Super Cool:cool: !! I have enjoyed every conversation with him,and he treats Buck collectors Great:) :D
 
Can you guys give me Leroy's contact information? I know I had his e-mail address some time ago but I cannot find it.
