I did one of those free and easy mods to my BK2 today and thought i would share. Sorry if this has been gone over before.
I was doing some touch up work with the epoxy stripper, file and sandpaper today making my precious shine (insert Gollum voice). And after I got it back together I was looking at the stock scales and thought about what I could do right then and there with no money spent and not a lot of effort to spiff up the kinda boring handle area (sorry Ethan

Soooooo..... I sanded both ends of the allen head screw and one side of the nut to shiney metal. It looks pretty cool against the black scales. Next time I get to the hardware store I will check out stainless or maybe brass screws and nuts. But this was free and easy.
