I have a small quantity of ceramic wheels, and I want to give 3 of them to you experienced sharpeners to try. I have tried one freehanded with some results, but then I am not an expert by any stretch. A friend of mine mounted one on a slow speed shaft and seems to like it, but he is not an experienced sharpener either, so I don't know that we're getting the most out of them.
The wheels have an outside diameter of 2 and 3/4 inches, almost an inch wide, and the hole is about 15/16 of an inch.
If you would like one of these for free, then reply on here and send me an email with your ship to address. The first 3 replies get one. In return, all I ask of you is to give an honest critique of them- what you like or don't like and why. If they are well received, I hope to sell the remainder (after I renew my membership, of course).
