I had this listed on the "makers for sale" section, decided I would rather see it in the hands of a member of the U.S. Military. So the first person to make contact me via direct email or can call me will receive this "ECO" medium camp knife as a "thanks" from me for your service.

There is no sheath made for it right now, but it will come with a soft case and I can put the new owner in touch with sheath makers etc.

All I ask is a copy of your military ID or some other sort of verification.

(Moderators: if this is in the wrong forum, please let me know, just wanted it to get maximum views etc.)

“Eco” Medium Size Camp Knife, forged from W2 round bar, 7” differential heat treated blade, 11-1/8” overall, 3/16”+ at spine, distal taper. “As forged” cord wrapped tang, 220 grit belt finish blade, convex edge. Sharp, tough, ready to use.

Thanks, Matt

Matt, sorry I missed this one for my son-in-law at Bragg. Great gesture, and congratulations to Phil's son!

Way to go, Matt.

Merry Christmas to you and Mrs. Lamey.

If you want to do a couple more send me an email I'd love to donate something toward the materials - you supply the labor, of course!

A Big Thanks to Matt ! Our Son hasn't been home in over a year. He will be back home just in time for Christmas and there will be a Very Nice Present from Santa ( Matt ) under the Tree. Thanks Phil and Family

Awesome knife and gesture, thanks Matt. Congrats to the worthy young Marine!

Good for you, Matt.

Merry Christmas to Phil, his whole family, and especially his Marine.

John

Well Done Matt. Mighty good of you.
Not much beats a good surprise, especially when you get to keep it!

thanks for the kind words all, but really direct those words and thoughts to the folks who are laying it on the line for us as we sleep safely at home every night.

Got a call from a fine Texan saying that he would make the sheath for this knife, so off to Kerrville it will go.

Will probably have the new owner be in touch with Paul on the sheath after Christmas so he can get what will work for him. SO...... Hats off to Mr. Long for kicking in what will be a fine piece of leather im sure!

Wow, your the man Matt! great gesture and great on Paul as well. Looks like a nice solid knife.

I just wanted to thank you for this gesture. I'm not nor have I been in the military but I have the utmost respect for those that have and are.

I just got the Knife and Sheath back from Paul and it looks Great. The pictures don't do the Knife and Sheath justice they are first class. Thanks again to Matt and Paul.
