I got to thinking since I made the lloyd Harding cd available for download on my site. I have the webhosting enterprise package with yahoo. It gives me 4gigs of storage and 75gigs of bandwith per month, which is quite a lot. I've noticed when I went to sites and looked for tutorals, files ect there would be dead links. So I am offering to host any knifemaking files, tutorals, zip, pdf, text. for download on my site. All you would have to do is email me the file, Ftp access to my website to upload it youself is down below. Then it would be available for everyone without pop ups and all that junk. I can accept files up to 20megs in my email. If anyone wants to upload directly with FTP, I have created a special Account. It only has access to an upload folder to upload files to the site. just email FTP password information and and autoreply should send you the info just send a test email and it will reply back.
I was going to make a subdomain like files.hurleyknives.com or hurleyknives.com/files and there would be all the downloads. Let my know if anyone is interested. I'm going to the NKCA ohio knife show it Wilmington, Ohio today, So if anyone emails me, I probably won't get back to you unitil sunday.
