No, not freeing them from the constaints of making Traditionals and turning instead to Uber Moderns:D

I'd like to offer a giveaway in recognition of the other contributors of this forum. Lot of interest here, lot of invaluable knowledge being shared too thank you.

RULES

My decision is final:D you must be aware of local laws and regulations in your area. One entry, confined to regulars here 30+ posts anywhere in the world.

CONTEST CLOSES Monday 14th MARCH 08.00 Helsinki time.

Your post is your entry in the draw, but please state any traditional Pocket knife/sheath knife that you would especially like to have (apart from the prize!) but don't yet own.

THE PRIZE

G.E.C. Northfield Lockback in Burnt Orange Jig Bone serial No.7

Friends, this is a user knife and used. In fact, it had a bit of a mishap:took it to a party, cut some fruits and some bright girl put it in the sink with the dishes:eek:Scales are fine, action is smooth but there is some pitting. This is not a collector's piece but a knife to be used. Does have tube&papers though.

GOOD LUCK AND LET'S BE HAVING YOU:thumbup:

I got my first stag slippy for my birthday back in January. It is a Case Trapper with CV blades. I'd like to one day gather additional stag pocket knives. I'm really liking stag.

Thanks for your generosity with the GEC. All my knives are users. I only have one or two that haven't been used yet. And, if I have them long enough they'll be getting used too.

Nice contest, willgoy. Thanks!

Apart from the prize, I'd like to have a Herder sodbuster, or a black G-10 Case trapperlock.

Tony Bose Backpocket.
Thanks! I find myself more attractive to slipjoints for edc for the sake of simplicity. Just keep it clean, oiled, and sharp. No need for loctite or special screwdrivers, just drop it in your pocket and GO! :)

Thanks for the chance Willgoy. I've been craving a Case/Kinfolks mini copperhead.

Best regards

Robin

I would really like to have a Great Eastern Tidioute Jack Lemon Zest. Thanks for a chance on a G.E.C.!

A burnt orange GEC  I love those scales, and a great pattern too...

I've owned countless patterns of production knives, although never any GEC's, but if and when I am ever able to get a knife by Ken Erickson, life will be complete. Of course I wouldn't mind something by TB either.

The other would be a duplicate of Elliotts red bone Ruple stockman. That knife still puts a big smile on my face.

Thanks for the chance WG, and good luck to all

Thanks for the Chance.

Looking to get.
Either a Case Swayback with pinecone pattern scales.

or

An AG Russell Gunstock in the Yellow Derlin.

Thanks for the chance

I'm looking at the big hunters, lately...that's something I don't have in my collection, never had, and never used...maybe I'd like it?

And I agree with you; this place is awesome!

Not an entry, just wanted to say thanks for the generous giveaway. You're one of the many people here who make this such a great place.

I'd still like to pick up a Swayback of some variety, either Case or a custom.

I'd like to play, too. Been wanting a Queen Gunstock in honey amber bone, but just can't justify it.

Thanks for the chance.

Willgoy, this is only my 31st post, I obviously haven't been here long, but I do enjoy BSing about knives here. I plan on hanging around here for a while, and posting more often as I get a few new knives.

I would love to get a new Case 32 stockman, with Red bone, or chestnut bone not sure yet though.

Thanks for a chance to win a great knife.
Sorry about the mishap, I've made a few mistakes with my EDC's as well. :thumbdn:
