free knife offer--newbies or for you kid only

i have a as new large buck knife with zytel scales,nylon sheath that i would like to give to a newbie that wants to start owning knives but doesn't yet or for some one in the forums that would like to give one to their kid.

I am a leader in the Venture troop(Boy Scouts) at my Fish and game club here in ma. We sure could use any cutlery that anyone does not need for the kids.
 
Yiterp, you are one of the best I have seen around. If I would have known folks like you it would not have taken me so long to get into this wonderful activity. Much props.
 
I think a youngin would really enjoy a knife like that. I remember my first lockblade was one just like that. Somebody better post and win this knife.

Yans, e-mail me with your shipping address, I have a few I could send your way. Just to know that your really in scouting (I dont doubt you, just alot of liars on the net.) Where would you place a AO lodge flap on a uniform?

As for the questioning of it, I can understand that very well!! I have so few postings and have been reg. over a year.
 
And actually it is a OA tab not a AO. In Venturing we dont have Order of the arrow but I got my weekend when I was a Star scout.

You two are really great. I sent out emails to both with my ID attatched. Please let me know if you dont get them.

I want you both to see that this was really cool of ya and a lot of people here should know that alot of kids in scouts cannot afford all that is needed in it. Some families go without a lot of things so these kids can stay in scouts.

THIS IS NOT A SALES PITCH! If you have ny extra gear, and old uniforms please call your local BSA council, and donate it. There are many kids that can benifit from it. If ya want a real rush, find a membership drive for scouting and give the scoutmaster 10$ for a kids year and watch a single moms or dads face relax because they dont got it in thier pocket.

I am truley sorry to rant on with this but I just wanted everyone to know how really cool that this is!

Yans, glad your kids will get a lot of use out of the knives. It might be cool if you could encourange the ones who get those knives to join here and share their thanks and enjoyment of their new tools. Just a thought;) .
