Free Knife!

Ok, here’s the deal. It’s time to encourage the newbies among us, and possibly get a few lurkers out of the shadows. I’m giving away a CRKT Mirage for free. What will it cost you? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Not even shipping cost (weren’t you listening? It’s free!). The Mirage has been my user for a while, but it’s really in tip-top shape. It has perfect lockup, no blade play at all, it’s razor sharp, and only has some clip wear and sharpening marks. See picture below.

So how do you win this free knife, you ask? To qualify, you must: 1.) own less than ten (10) knives, and 2.) have been a knife collector for less than three years. Good for you, Mark J, you've chosen an excellent knife to introduce knife newbies to the world of knives.

My Mirage has perfect lockup, ZERO blade-play with a smooth-as-butter action, and a great pair of thumbstuds. Whenever I pick it up to play with, I still think to myself, "Heehee, what a steal." I still carry it occasionally, as a substitute for my slightly larger AFCK when I'm worried that I'll have to hide it in the grass outside a metal-detector-equipped building. Makers of $100+ knives could learn a lesson or two from handling this Hammond-designed beauty. Heehee.

I'm kinda new to the game. My first "high end" knife was a Spyderco Kiwi that I received a few months ago. How about 876?

“The first one’s free!” Where have I heard that before? Once some poor bastard gets a ‘free’ knife they will become hopelessly addicted! Just say no to knives! :D
 
Do cheapy balisongs and crappy daggers/swords count? Bought a whole bunch before I knew they were crap :barf:

...though i probly don't qualify being on the other side of the world. :rolleyes: but i only have 3 folders at the moment and only one of them is worth mentioning (small schrade 120t that my dad gave me) the other 2 are cheap things that barely hold an edge but my schrade is wicked sharp.
