  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Get "Knifemaker's Digest" for free! In our first edition: Working with horn, A Scrimshaw primer, Knife Design, a review of one of the latest beltgrinders, Q&A, loads of pictures, detailed "how to" descriptions, usefull & useless info, interesting websites.

As it goes with all ideas, the feedback I received from what I originally wrote (above) lead to new developements. Most of the replies I received were from collectors. So I decided to dedicate part of the newsletter to pictures of new work done by custom makers.
Send pictures by snailmail or .jpg , .bmp or .tif files with a description (materials, construction), it's price and how you can be reached. The pictures must preferably be of new knives or knives you have in stock.

To subcribe, email burgerknives@limpopo.co.za .Provide a correct email adress and some information about yourself (maker,collector,dealer/distributor, your specialities and areas of interest such as forging, stock removal, etc.

Advertisers are welcome to enquire about our ad policy.
